The refried beans came in a small ramekin, about a 1/4-1/3 cup. They were thick, bland with no salt, and had way too much ground cumin. There was a 'crust' on top, indicating they had been sitting out for a while. The soup also came in a small ramekin, about a 1/4-1/3 cup, and there was no spoon provided to eat it with. There was no bacon or sausage in sight and it was bland with no seasoning. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food. The restaurant had just opened recently, but I don't see it lasting long unless they make drastic improvements to their food quality.
My wife and I recently had lunch at Suena. We ordered Chimichangas, Chicken Burritos, and Carne Asada Quesadillas and were absolutely delighted with our meal.
Have you ever had a moment while driving where something unexpected catches your eye, and you impulsively switch lanes to get a closer look? That's what happened to me when I spotted this restaurant.
