I can only assume that jin is the owner. she was the kindest of everyone. an extensive menu to say the least with selection and combination that are a refreshing change from the many other sushi restaurants I was in the gta. platte presentation is excellent and the sushi (I had the salmon lover is one of the freshest I ever had. Very good. in a cold winter night, my friend and I finally decided to try paper crane as my parents and I drove past her for years without really stopping. the price is actually quite comparable to the koganeis and Mi-Nes of the world, so it is not too bad. the ambiente is modern and beautiful, but not super traditional. eating is exquisite, with many excellent dressed and delicious rolling, although they use a lot of spicy mayonnaise if they are not a fan. waiting them personal is fantastic, friendly and the younger of the two female server is pretty. when you're in king city, stop!
Excellent kitchen. my wife and I sung at the paper crane several times. on the last Friday evening we brought almost a dozen friends, most of whom had never tried sushi, and some who left the same, were limited to chicken meat or the braided ribs. I think the menu on the website of paper crane is not up to date. at previous trips I ordered the sushi dinner special des tageskochs, but this time it was missing from the menu and I ordered another table assortment. have they heard or read from the tricks used by food photographers to make dishes look exceptionally appealing. they don't need to worry about the photos on the paperwork...read more
Nice place! eating was delish and service was super friendly. we ordered green castors, hot stone bowl and chicken catsu. has cost everything. we will return! the restaurant was not busy, but while we were sitting there, we noticed a lot of business.
Expensive but worth it. Very good sushi, probably the best place in King Township (admittedly, that's not saying much). High quality fish and creative rolls. Good Korean dishes too. Nice interior design and friendly service. Usually pretty empty which is too bad, business is probably not good, but means it is easy to get a table and service is fast. Support this place if you are willing to pay for quality sushi.
