Kathy and Marida are keeping that place together. Two people that are an absolute joy to see and talk with when I go in there. Can’t thank them enough!
The food is usually pretty good. Just unfortunate that this location doesn't show up in the app so you can't order ahead from this location. You have to go to other locations in New Kent or the Mechanicsville/Richmond area to take advantage of the app.
We had placed our order and then waited 45 minutes for them to fill it.We spent 81 dollars on 2 large family chicken meals. The ice tea was dumped out because it had things floating in it. The chicken did not taste fresh and we were shorted biscuits and coleslaw. I don't see why I would go back no
Do NOT order the 1 leg, 2 thigh meal. They never seem to have any thighs. If they have a limited amount, they 'll give you 2 legs and only one thigh without telling you. If they don 't have any at all, they 'll wait until after you 've put in your order and drive up to the window to tell you they don 't have any. Why they don 't tell you at the menu is beyond me. Then they 'll give you the option to take smaller pieces instead.....FOR THE SAME PRICE!!! And then when you cancel your order, they act annoyed as if it was YOUR fault that they didn 't have any thighs or not taking the smaller pieces at the same price. I hate to pull the bunch of kids work there card, but it 's true and it 's not necessarily bad that kids work there, it 's the fact you can tell they DON 'T want to work there nor do they feel like it. It 's almost like they want the check without working. This seems to be an issue at this location. If you want thighs, go to another spot. It 's unfortunate because their chicken is actually really good. It 's just not worth dealing with the inconsistencies. Whatever you do, don 't complain about anything! They will literally talk about you to their co-workers while you 're still at the window!
