Kings Cafe - Kings Beach

I ordered the sweet potato fries, cod fish tacos, and French toast, and everything was delicious. I just wish the sweet potato fries were a bit crispier. The tacos were incredibly refreshing with the fresh mango salsa! In the picture, there's bacon on the taco, but it actually goes on the French toast. My husband ended up taking it off and enjoying it separately.

We always stop by Kings Cafe for breakfast or lunch while visiting Lake Tahoe. I absolutely adore the views from the Cafe of Lake Tahoe while basking in the sun in the window seating area. The food is reasonably portioned and priced. I loved the Cod fish tacos and Iced Whole Milk Mocha. I've had the Chicken Pesto sandwich before and would recommend that as well.

Great outside sitting to do people watching. Very Tahoe casual and busy place. Food is not bad, but not great. Espresso drinks are overpriced and really substandard. Giving 4 stars mostly for ambiance.

The service was quick. I ordered an Italian bagel, waffle fries, and a white mocha. The food was tasty and arrived promptly. The coffee was just average.
