Costa Coffee

We popped into this central coffee shop sited in the pedestrianized High St in Kings Lynn for our usual caffeine fix. The staff are good and the coffee served is up to the normal standard expected from this chain. However, the coffee on the first occasion was not as hot as we liked but a very pleasant member of staff replaced it immediately. The cafeteria was clean and tidy and so we can recommend this coffee shop.

I am very disappointed with my recent visit to Costa Coffee High Street Kings Lynn!! I am normally a regular customer of this particular costa and am normally treated well and with a smile. Yesterday this was not the case, I was served by a young lady whom I can only describe as not wanting to be there, the young man behind her making our drinks wasn’t much happier!! Neither of them cracked a smile the whole time we were there. Very abrupt and one word answers is not a good level of customer service!!! I will be visiting the Hardwick costa from now on... all staff in there are extremely friendly and chatty and nothing seems too much trouble. Even the lady who served me Hardwick at 6.30 am previously had a beautiful smile while serving!! Maybe that particular lady should go to the high street and train them on outstanding customer service!!

I haven't written a review for a Costa Coffee shop in a long time, but I felt compelled to share my positive experience at Costa Kings Lynn. Despite the chain's overall decline since the pandemic, this particular location, opposite Clarks shoe store, stood out as exceptional. The staff were efficient and worked well as a team, ensuring that customers didn't have to wait too long for service. The tables were promptly cleared and wiped, and the toilets were clean. I was impressed with the service and cleanliness at Costa Kings Lynn. Great job!

The cappuccino was large and delicious, and the carrot cake was also very tasty. The service was quick, and there was free wifi available. I had a great seat by the window.

The coffee at Costa Coffee is not the best - it often tastes weak. However, the friendly staff more than make up for it.
