My partner and I had some free time on a Sunday afternoon, so we decided to stop by this restaurant. I was a bit let down to discover that they no longer offer cask ale, but we ended up staying for a cup of coffee, which was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nicely decorated. They had some lunchtime specials advertised that intrigued us, so we may consider returning in the future.

Really enjoyed breakfast during our hotel stay. Asked for a fresh omlette to be cooked and it was amazing! Lots of choice, and food kept hot and refilled on the hot buffet.

The fixed menu provides great value with creative and expertly cooked dishes, offering a variety of three to four options per course. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

The Dukes Head is a spacious historic hotel with a stunning tiled bar overlooking the main square. Guests can park in the hotel's car park or right outside for a fee. The hotel offers rooms dating back to the 1600s as well as modern rooms at the back. The interior of the hotel is charming and definitely worth a visit.
