Kings Park Beer Soda

Don't let this building's unremarkable exterior fool you, because the treasures inside are far from ordinary! It took me 6 months of living in the area before I walked into this store, but now I'm a regular. Their beer selection is amazing, and the owner knows quite a bit about beer. Want the best IPA? They've got it. Want a good seasonal? It's in stock. They've got beer from microbreweries representing seemingly every state, and beer from the big guys as well, although their focus is definitely on specialty brews. And their store hours are very convenient. And growlers! They fill growlers! They regularly have 4 kegs tapped $5 deposit on a new growler, but wash it out and bring it back for refills). The breweries on tap seem to usually be Dogfish Head, Flying Dog and Bear Republic. The only drawback is a high price tag, but that's to be expected with specialty beers.

Had not been here in years. Stopped in to get a cold seltzer. Young bearded person behind the counter couldn't even say hello.

This is a very small place with a very large selection of craft and imported beers. Also a couple of taps for growler fills. The owner is really friendly and quite knowledgeable about the beers he carries. He regularly switches up his inventory so you can always find something new and different to try. And since he knows his customers, you can trust his recommendations. A true gem in little ol' KP.

I recently called from out of state to purchase an uncommon beer. I had previously emailed the store received a quick response. Bharat, who I was working with, was very pleasant and efficient. He did not rush me off the phone or make me feel like I was a bother, as there were several details involved with this transaction. I was very pleased with the customer service and my shopping experience.
