The restaurant staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and all the dishes were freshly made from scratch. They were also willing to accommodate any special requests.

Mahab-bharat is a local favorite for us, even before we went vegan. We hadn't visited in a while because we thought there weren't many options for us. However, upon contacting the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the huge and delicious menu. Mahi, whose family owns the restaurant, was very helpful in informing us that most of the menu could be made vegan. The chapatis were a great bread option for us, and we highly recommend trying the vegan onion bhaji with 24 hours notice. The owner, Mr. Islam, was patient and helpful in recommending dishes that suited our preferences. The Subzi Hara Dhaniya and pathia dishes were excellent, along with the veganized mushroom pilau rice. Although Mahab-bharat may not be the cheapest option, the award-winning food and exceptional customer service make it worth it. Contact them through Facebook or phone to discuss vegan options.

Mahab-bharat is local for us and is popular long before the vegan days. but we didn't have one because we mistakenly thought there were not many options for us. the menu is huge and absolutely glorious, and invited with the parents of my wife, we decided to come in contact and see what was actually possible for vegans. mahi ( whose family the restaurant belongs) was as friendly and knowledgeable as always and was quick to inform us that only several options on the menu were not in the location to be made vegan. the only brotoption that was available to us was the chapatis that were lovely, and although not, as it tasted spicy like a simple naan at all. with curry they are just as good! with 24 hours notice that they are a vegan teig for wobble bhaji (I insist that they do this, they are to die) and are happy to give them recommended. owner, herr islam, was patient and polite with our wish and ask and chose us a court (the subzi hara dhaniya) based on our preference and desire to have two dishes/currences that tasted completely different. we also had a pathie and veganized mushroom plumage. Mahab-bhatat may not be cheap, but it has won from a ground price. eating is wonderful and they will fight to find a better customer service anyway in devon. talk about facebook or phone to chat about the possibilities.

Worth if a visit, especially if you are suffering a rainy camping trip, as the food is good!

I had my 19th birthday meal here and it was fabulous, I got a free tasty dessert, compliments of the staff! then I returned tonight for my 21st back in the evening and it was another great meal. eating or not to blame the service. the place looked great and they had even decorated the table with birthday balloons etc! I also received a free bottle of red wine as a birthday gift from the employees, which is a beautiful gesture. thanks for a nice evening! we will be coming back
