The Crabshell Inn - Kingsbridge

We've been exploring all the pubs in the Kingsbridge/Dartmouth/Totnes triangle since we moved here and we rate the Crabshell in our top 10 for great food

The gluten-free pizza menu is well-laid out and clearly indicates which options are gluten-free.

I had the Bouillabaisse which was amazing could have done with more bread to accompany it though. My husband had fish and chips but found the portion of fish rather small for the price. Mussels were deemed excellent by my daughter in law. Children were very happy with their meals. Shame the weather wasn't good enough to have the doors open onto the terrace. Service was pretty good and friendly.

The food was good and it was a repeat visit because we had enjoyed it before but the service was terrible. The waitress was very rude and when we challenged her about it she did not apologise but made us feel awkward and the evening was soured. We will not go back
