We have decided to stop here from the places we have visited, and let me tell you that they are definitely not disappointed! It was so delicious! Next time we have to ask for more sauce because it was amazingly tasty, but not enough. Definitely worth the money and the stop!
Classic Southern Style not a Frills Grill that is a local hit; and I understand why. I had the pulled pork sandwich and fresh lemonade, was not very hungry, but needed to reergize because I had not eaten all day.... I shouldn't check when I'm hungry, but being a fair food critic, I say that was A-Sharp pick-up, taking food of first-class quality. The fare is decadent, moist, fresh and tasty. If a second trip is checked again at a later date, a second trip will definitely be planned.
I like big ass and I can't lie, the bbq is smokin! A deep-south-mute-stop destination, a perfect pee! Land or not, salt the city folk to lick the finger delicious. The head-side pineapple cake is also a sweet finisher here.
I've always said that while driving in the south is the best Fopd at the gas station. In the middle of a fast food wasteland this old school, family-run BBQ spot is an oasis of good food and friendly service. We're so glad we stopped. Had pulled pork, BBQ beans. YUM!
I don't think you can find better pulled pork anywhere. Excellent smoked flavor. The pulled pork plate is huge. It comes with rice and 2 sides. The cole slaw and baked beans were top notch. The large pulled pork sandwich is also generously sized. Be sure to ask for a fork for it. Their sauce and smoked sausage are really good too. Can't wait to come back the next time we are passing through.
