Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We were a party of 2. We knew we had plans later to eat, so we wanted a light lunch. We each ordered a bowl of vegetable soup with cornbread. It arrived quickly and cold. We sent it back. Then when it came back, it was barely edible. I found 1 potatoe and had to spit it out. Then, I found a few peas, tomatoes, smashed lima beans, and a few pieces of what looked like green beans. Nothing like we have gotten before. We tried to eat it and left in disgust. The waitress came back only to give us our bill. When we paid the check..the guy asked how was everything? We replied awful! There was no response. Not sure why. Maybe he didn 't know what to say. I later called and vented nicely to the manager. He offered a free salad or dessert upon our next visit. We said no, but thank you for listening. Food should not be served cold and empty . It was very disappointing. Beware of the soup. Be smart and send it back. Don 't try to eat something you are not happy with...lesson of the day.

Hadn't been to this location in a while due to short staff and decrease in food quality. Decided to give them another chance. And boy, what a turn around. All though they are still slower than Christmas when it comes to getting food out, everything still turned out good. Our waiter, Carlos, was mainly the reason why everything seemed a lot better. Unlike most employees of this day and age, he was very attentive and made sure everyone in the restaurant was doing okay. A true gentleman I must say. I think if this location could just get more help and better management, this place could be as good as it use to be.

The food is incredibly delicious . The service staff is very friendly and attentive to customers.I I recommend it to everyone.

It wasn't even busy on a Sunday night. My waitress was very attentive, accurate and fast. My dinner was more than expected.Food: 5/5
