We dined here 6/29/17 for dinnerI had Chilean Sea Bass, hubby had walleyeBoth entrees were served over risotto.
Three of us went very recently to Mexican night at the Chateau.
The interior is quaint, everything is sub-standard. The menu is largely limited to hamburgers or sandwiches or fried starters. The steak tasted like it had been in the freezer a long time. The service was only acceptable. This is a hangout for "regulars" so be prepared to hear their loud conversations during your dinner. A disappointing visit and we won't be back.
The Pub sits on the ground floor of the Queens Inn. I'm not sure if it's part of the Inn or not but the Inn sign is a good landmark for finding the pub. I go here at least once a month and it's always great. The wings are the best in town. Burgers and sandwiches also keep me coming back for do overs. Beer on tap is the usual fare with too many lite brews for my taste and the reason I give it 4 not 5, but lately some Granville Island Pale Ale has been on tap and that goes well with the food. In a town brimming with great spots to eat this is my favourite.
