Pat's Restaurant - Kingston

They don't deliver. Food is average. Still prefer Saigon Delights for Thai. Pad Thai not great . Spring rolls were processed tasting and disgusting. Will not go back.

Pat is the reason why there are so many Cambodian and Thai restos in K'Town (he started and sold most of them). Prices are up, got to agree with that but the portions are big most people take a doggie bag. Flavours are incredible, I get cravings for a #7 in my sleep and I can literally mow down a half dozen of the big meaty spring rolls in 5 minutes. Pat's daughter in law is often serving tables and she can be terse (crabby?) but when his sons are working the service things are fast and efficient. Try it you will become addicted.

Pat's used to offer the hugest, most delicious portions for a reasonable price. Now, their service is poor, meals aren't as big or fresh, and prices have skyrocketed in the last 6 months-1 year. Went back for the first time in months hoping for better service and food quality; unfortunately, not the case.

Food was so so but expensive for a quick lunch. 6 shrimp hidden in a decent sauce and rice. Poor quality chicken in decent sauce. 3 burnt spring roll and 2 tap water. €40 with tip. Poor waitress that gave the impression she was doing us a favor. Won't be going back ever

Best place to eat in Kingston .hot,fresh and prices are right ..great soups and the spring rolls are awesome .sometimes a little bit of a wait when it gets real busy but worth it .good service and usually there is free parking out front after 5 pm .going to pats for over 25 years and nothing can match it .check it out
