Servers are so friendly, nice and very good looking. Pleased me every time I eat there. One of my favourite dish is HWAE DUP BAB with some special spicy sauce to go with it it's to die for. Trust me whether you are a student around or tourist you will find this place awesome!!!!
We had the best sushi and salmon teriyaki ever. Very clean . I highly recommend this place if you like Japanese food.
I was a frequent patron of Sushi Ya when it was located on upper Princess street. When visiting the downtown location, Sushi Ya Zen, I was hoping for the same fresh, quality meals I was accustomed to. The service was friendly and the restaurant inviting, but the freshness was lacking. They used frozen, rubbery salmon in their Philadelphia roll which was pretty disappointing. The veggie maki and tempura were decent, but just not fresh or flavourful enough. I'm sad to say that I won't be returning. :(
Sushiya Zen has the best-cut sushi I've ever eaten. Everything is incredibly fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth tender.
We have been going to this place for years, back when they were at their old location. The service is consistently good, the food is always amazing, and the staff is very friendly. We find the ingredients to be fresh and prepared with fine attention to detail. Everything looks as good as it tastes. The new location is a bit trickier with no free parking, but a very nice spot down by the water. I've tried sushi from many restaurants and this is my favourite sushi place in Kingston by far. Very underrated.
