Sweetwood Jerk Joint - Kingston

I had a fantastic jerk barbecue experience just minutes away from the Pegasus Hotel. If you're staying at the hotel, it’s definitely worth a visit. Be sure to try the platter featuring jerk chicken, pork, and sausages.

The food was excellent, and there was secure parking available. However, the venue could use some renovations.

Had some very good jerk chicken. Couple of different sizes to choose from be careful if you don’t handle spicy food well. But, the chicken tastes great just as it comes. 1/2 jerk chicken 1,200 Jamaican about $9.00 US.

The restaurant was empty when I arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive my warm meal in under a minute. After a year and a half, I really appreciated the chance to sit down and enjoy lunch right where I purchased it.

Great Jerk spot in Kingston. Menu options are limited depending on the day that you go but you're sure to enjoy whatever they have available.
