The Terrace At Terra Nova - Kingston

The setting was lovely but the buffet was poorly managed as patrons had to wait long periods for dishes to be replenished and the salad bar was inadequately stocked. Improvement in these areas will certainly make for a five star dining experience.

I had the following issues: 1. Before I booked the reservation on Thursday, December 19,2019, I inquired about the cost and was told that it was J$11,000.00 for two persons. Imagine my surprise when I was billed J$14,000. plus. The explanation was that I was quoted the Sunday Brunch rate but that this was Christmas Brunch which was higher. To me it amounted to false advertising and left a bad exit taste . 2. We arrived for our 3:30 PM reservation at about 3.10 PM. We were not seated until about 5.15 PM. Waiting almost two hours to eat was certainly not contemplated nor appreciated. The explanation that some people had eaten but were just sitting down and chatting was not acceptable. 3. By the time we finished eating and went for desert, it was finished so we got none. Those points apart, the dinner was ok, but they dampened the experience.

630 reservation ate 9pm. Food rushed to cook therefore minimizing taste. Children was so hungry, had to ask for their food

Customer service was on point. Adhered to Covid 19 Protocols. Ambience was great. Food wasn't bad.

Loved the setting. Loved a lot about the service until it came to my wife's food. She order a salad which had greens, almonds, and a lemon vinaigrette. it came out with only greens no almonds or no vinaigrette. The server did not mention anything. When we asked about it he took it back. Then we were told that there was no lemon vinaigrette and offered other options with no apology. The salad came back with the almonds and olives added (we did not want olives) I would have expected more for a higher class and higher priced restaurant. No real apologies only trying to convinced us that the other dressings were better. In saying this i recommend the place it is stunning and based on my experience probably one of the classiest restaurants in Kingston
