Golden Star

We waited 2 hours for our order to arrive either cold or exceptionally greasy. Unfortunately it saddens me to say it’s the worst meal we have ever had. We’ve been using this takeaway for years and years and this is the first bad meal. Either...it’s under new ownership or the chef has changed. The curry sauce is absolutely tasteless. Very disappointing.

The golden star has actually made a step up lately. the last 2 takeaways that we have delivered were clearly freshly cooked eating, not greasy and bag taste. I really hope that this will continue and it will not slip back to its old ways.

Always the fastest place for delivery, so piping hot eating every time. for special foo young, cooked rice and curry sauce to share as try to lose a little weight lol. a beautiful large plate of omelette with a lot of filling, I personally don't like a garnish so I brought them out and gave them to the woman she loves. the curry sauce had exactly the correct amount of seasoning and consistency. the only reason for not 5 stars is the rice was a tiny piece hanging together probably due to its delivery, although if separated with a fork was good. all fed for less than £12, super.

Great quality eating, huh curry and mini spring rolls are wonderful. best to come and order it is a little cheaper than via phone, they are out of the map in the shop or via phone as well

The first time to order Chinese food here, it is amazing. very delicious!
