Moka - Kingston upon Thames

The coffee was served cold and when reheated in the microwave, it was completely burnt. The breakfast was warm in the center but cool on the edges. The scrambled eggs were just average. The food and coffee were below average and overpriced.

I had a great lunch experience at this restaurant! The dishes we ordered were tasty and the staff was very friendly. My family and I really enjoyed it.

My husband and I are frequent customers at Moka and we highly recommend it to others. They offer a variety of options from coffee, breakfast, light lunches, and a great selection of food all day. The menu has diverse and delicious choices that are meticulously prepared. The management and staff are all very friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. You can choose to dine outside under the high glass ceiling of the Bentall Centre on the second floor, or inside for a cozy experience. Personally, we prefer dining outside. Moka has a wonderful atmosphere with Italian influences, making it a fantastic place to enjoy a meal.

Went there this morning with my PA was told to order at counter I am in wheelchair which meant accessing three steps !!? Then told by owner that staff would take order at table which didn't come my PA had to go and order for me the had to ask for sweetner were unhelpful and nodded in direction when I couldn't find I asked again (3 staff members who were doing nothing) eventually one came to show me with a very miserable face on her!! Won't bother returning again definitely gone down hill all in all PANTS

In fairness moka took 5 of us as a walk in during a busy lunchtime on a Monday. The menu is varied but the dishes dived from ok to pretty bad. Halloumi was ok, chicken burger ok but the pasta arrabiata (San Remo version) was so bad that it’s making me do a therapeutic trip advisor review to get over it. Over cooked pasta, school dinner watery tomato sauce the closest it got to any chilli was staring at it across the kitchen. Why have arrabiata on the menu if you’re not going to put any chilli in, any seasoning in, or any flavour probably because you’ve not checked the chef knew what he’s doing and you’re only interested in the bill getting paid. Anyhoo a nice enough place, but some very average food.
