The only downside is that the kitchen closes early, and the staff member in charge often seems unhappy or upset, as if he doesn't want customers there. It would be nice if he could at least try to be friendly and smile a bit. If you're not a fan of the sounds that children make, you might want to avoid this place, as it can get a bit lively with all the kids around.
This café has a small soft play area at the back, which is very popular with families who have young children, like ours. It's tucked away behind an outdoor shop. While the coffee and other drinks aren't the best, it’s a decent spot to keep the kids entertained for a while.
This is a fantastic hidden gem! They have an impressive vegan menu, which includes carrot sticks and hummus in the children's options, along with a free play corner for kids. I enjoyed a freshly baked scone paired with locally made jam and a really good hot chocolate. It was a delightful experience, and I recommend visiting for the lovely atmosphere. I paid £13 for two scones with jam, a large cup of hot chocolate, and a half pint of chocolate milkshake.
