C Seafood & Oyster Bar - Kingston

The location at Kingston foreshore is pleasant and convenient. We arrived early on a Sunday afternoon for a family lunch and were promptly seated and served. The oysters, both natural and with mignonette, were delicious and thankfully free of any shell fragments. The pork sandwich was excellent, and I could have easily eaten more if I had known how good it was - I may have to return just for that. However, the croquettes were a disappointment for me as they were unexpectedly spicy, which I cannot tolerate. They also contained a lot of potato, making them more like a fish cake in my opinion. The boys enjoyed their fish and chips, while my little one rejected his chicken and chips due to not liking the chicken pieces, although hungry boys were happy to help out. Some hazelnut pot de creme and ice creams later, we left satisfied. The attentive staff were quick to check on us and help with any requests, including moving tables when it started to rain and keeping our drinks topped up.

We found this restaurant to be a great option for a group to enjoy a nice lunch together. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, although the meal ended up being a bit pricey for what we received. Despite the cost, it is definitely a great spot for sharing a seafood meal.

A group of 4 friends and work colleagues had dinner at CDine. There were only 8 people total in the restaurant while Morks next door was full. A great shame as CDine was worthy of far greater patronage. Alas it is now closed. Best wishes to the owners, hope things work out in the future.

Went for lunch today. They're closed - 'For Lease' signs everywhere. Obviously closed quickly - tables set for diners ... umbrellas still outside, together with heaters. Shame really - we were looking forward to a seafood lunch.

Lunch on a sunny day recently with brilliant food and top service. Great view, the lunch board menu is good value and the food crisp and clean. Totally recommend the C-Dine Bar.
