Pizzazz - Kingston

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here - pumpkin fritters for my GF daughter, and a bowl of porridge cooked just right for me. It took a while coming, but it was a Sunday morning and it was worth the wait.

My friend and I visited Pizzazz in Kingston on a Saturday morning. The sun was shining, and the place was buzzing. Seemed like a good idea. We ordered eggs benedict, and I asked for my eggs done "medium" as I get ill with runny yolks and whites. After an extremely long 45-minute wait the eggs arrived, well-presented. However, my eggs were entirely under-cooked. I asked the waitress for "medium" eggs as per the (very specific) order we had placed. Explaining that it had taken 45 minutes already and that we needed now to eat and go she returned with another order in about 5 minutes, equally as runny. When I said I simply could not eat them she went to the kitchen to be told to tell me to "take it or leave it". I walked out. My recommendation? Don't go there. Read the reviews on this and other websites and simply do not go. The rudeness is unspeakable. And a chef (probably better named a "short order cook") who can't cook an egg? Don't bother. There is simply no reason to patronise such an establishment.

I really want to like this place alot more. The food is good, they have a good selection of drinks and it is in a nice area. However the rude and lazy staff let it down.

Yesterday I entered this cafe waiting to be seated. It was a busy day but there were a number of tables free. 4 waiters passed me none of them greeted me or said they would be with me shortly. So after the 5th went by I told her well if I'm going to be ignored I will leave. They did not seem to care.
