I was there for breakfast but was not impressed. I cannot speak to lunch and dinner. Pancakes and eggs were average but the sausage was terrible. This probably spoiled my whole perception of the place. Totally tasteless sausage is hard to stomach when it is one of your favorite parts of breakfast.
The rice was preheated and the lettuce was a little past due too white i ordered the combination plate and for the price won't order again. But the chk fried steak was good
We decided to try the place today for some authentic Mexican food. The waitress was too busy having her nose up the hostess ' butt to pay any attention to us. As soon as we sat down we asked for menu 's and we 're told they were out of the paper one 's, we had to look at their website from our phones to place our orders. Food finally arrives and the refried beans tasted burnt, there was plastic on my chalupa and when I informed the waitress she said so what do you want me to do with it? I asked for a replacement plate which took 20 minutes for a taco shell with dried out taco meat and a chalupa with burnt refried beans and very little cheese. Will definitely NOT be going back.
Waitresses were cold and unfriendly. Worse inattentive. We had the mexican plate the taco and chalupa were out of a box not homestyle cooking if you ask me. The chips were from a bag. The beans were decent but lacked the bacon flavor borracho beans usually have. The rice was nasty not mexican at all had mostly a pepper flavor. The sauce on the enchiladas tasted like it was straight out of a can from syscos enchilada sauce. The cheese was fried onto the plate where they microwaved the enchiladas and the tortillas which costed extra were tough like maybe they were made yesterday. The place needs some upkeep. And I have been to Eddie's taco house and Rockies taco house, Lydias restaurant is nothing like either of them. I ate the taco and chalupa because I was hungry and on my route there are no more stops but I left the rest on my plate. I paid 6.99 for something I couldn't bring myself to swallow. O and $1. For 2 tortillas. I only ate half of 1.I know I won't be back
