The manager came to give us the drinks and he was talking to us and telling where we could go around the town. We've decided to have lunch there. Amazing food and amazing service.
My couple and I decided to eat there because a local recommended us to go, and it did not disappoint! We got to talk with the owner, a really friendly and nice men. The staff was so nice and professional too. You could feel a great working environment! We ate some crepes and they were amazing! My advice is to take the banana and nutella one ; Overall, a really good experience. For sure we will come back!
It’s not often I have pizza for breakfast but on a rainy Sunday morning I was looking for shelter and I stumbled upon the milk market. The friendly staff welcomed me into the cafe and promptly took my order, they recommended a pizza and a chose the Hawaiian. I asked if they could put mushrooms instead of ham because I am vegetarian and they said that was totally fine. The coffee was great and the pizza as well!! The staff really made me feel at home and once I finished the pizza I got a smoothie as well, number 6, banana and strawberries: it was the perfect desert to finish a great meal. I have fallen in love with this gem of a coffee shop: great food, great service and very affordable!
I went for a coffee and a pizza, they were quite busy but the waitresses were really nice. The pizza was so tasty; overall an amazing experience. I encourage everyone to visit it as it’s situated in one of the most colorful streets in Cork!!
We decided to go to the milk market for a crepe and ice cream. I ordered a crepe with berries and vanilla ice cream and a separate scoop of caramel ice cream. It took about 5 minutes to order which I didn’t mind waiting but then i was waiting a further 10 minutes for the caramel ice cream and another further 5 minutes for the crepe. When the crepe came out it was missing the ice cream so I asked the server could I get it, she got annoyed and said I never ordered ice cream and then sent another server out to me who again got cheeky with me. When I finally got the crepe and ice cream (after everyone else was well finished eating) we could see the men in the kitchen popping their heads out and pointing fingers at us. The chef then continued to stare down my sister while they were all laughing and staring, my sister was uncomfortable so confronted him and asked why he was staring at her, to which he replied ‘am I not aloud look out my own window’. After that we could hear all of the kitchen staff in talking about us as we sat directly outside their door/window and then all staring out at us as I ate, I never felt so uncomfortable eating a crepe as I did there. As we got up to leave they all lined at the window to stare us off. I have never been a part of a situation as bizarre as that, they were rude, inefficient and hot tempered and made us all very uncomfortable. Could not recommend it less, many other nice places in Kinsale to go. I’d like to give it a 0/5, but that is not possible so I give it a 1.
