They know how to make propper Italian espresso! make sure to order it as Italian espresso, or also they get the normal water norweger think is espresso.

As a rule, I don't have high expectations for smaller venues in Norway. But the Mitt i gata café and lunch bar is a big surprise, nice boy at the till who, despite having a lot to do, was very polite. I ordered the kebab plate with everything on it, see picture. Clean and tidy in the toilet and best kebab in a long time. The dishes that came out of the kitchen while I was waiting for my food looked much better than the pictures in the menu. I ordered a bit strong with jalapeño on top and got exactly that, see picture. Thank you a lot
