Thon - Kirkenes

I would have given this hotel a 5-star rating if it weren't for the incorrect information provided to us at check-in. We were excited for breakfast, but arrived at 9AM to find out that it had already ended at 9, despite the posted hours stating it was until 10. The hotel is new and the rooms are modern and minimalist. The staff was helpful with recommendations and there is a luggage storage room. I would recommend this hotel in Kirkenes, but suggest double-checking meal times with the staff.

The room at this restaurant provided a cozy escape from the freezing temperatures outside. The bathroom was spacious and even had heated floors, which I loved. The staff was friendly, but they gave us incorrect information about the breakfast times during the Barents Festival, causing us to miss it and be quite hungry in the morning. Aside from this, we didn't encounter any other issues during our stay. The location by the waterfront was stunning and the airport shuttle conveniently dropped us off right outside. Overall, not too bad. I may not return to this area in the future, but if I ever find myself in Arctic Norway again, I know where to stay.

I am a world traveler, but I can honestly say that this is the best breakfast of all time! fresh orange juice and they even had beetroot juice with food dishes and that at the end of the world nizza at the beginning of the day leonora nieuwenhuizen

Perfect place, view of the sea nizza and quiet. friendly staff breakfast is beyond their imagination. beautiful bed with the best bedcloth. wine glasses and coffee machine something they need to try

It was not here, but came twice to dinner and to drink excellent. personally super friendly and nice, and gave me free coffee. it is often the newest place opened in kirkenes. it was expensive, but in norway everything is expensive.
