The service was friendly and the presentation and atmosphere were top-notch. It’s not halal, so I had to stick to vegetarian options, which was disappointing. Despite that, it was a great dining experience. Unfortunately, we were informed that they will be closing in a few weeks, which is a shame as it was a fantastic Mexican restaurant in the area.
We went to Chiquito's at Birstall on New Year's Day. I had been there a few times before, so I wanted to share my experience. This time everything went smoothly, as the restaurant was quiet on January 1st. The dishes in the photos include Nachos, Southern Fried Chicken, BBQ Pulled Pork, and Paella, which were all cooked well. The service was good and overall, I would consider going back again. The restaurant has a unique style with hanging bottles and a lively Mexican theme, although it may not be suitable for every occasion. If you're looking for a family-friendly place with bold flavors and a relaxed dress code, then it's a good choice.
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Liam provided us with excellent service. We plan on returning in a few weeks after we go to the movies.
Welcoming friendly staff. As it was late, and with all new normal rules, we were worried, we wouldn't be able to get in. But, surprise we were welcomed with heart warming smile. Seated pretty much straight as we got in, food was served quick and we enjoyed our visit. The food on my plate definitely intrigued, some one who was sat in next table to ours. So, if you haven't already tried chimichangas are definitely worth trying. Happy Eating.. :
Not bad. Cool hats to mess around with. £17 per main. Seems quite expensive for what it is. But good tasty food. Good service.
