Feedback gevenLast night, we ordered a takeout for pickup from this restaurant. Unfortunately, when we got home and opened the containers, we realized they had given us the wrong order. I called the restaurant to inform them, but there was no apology. We requested the correct order to be delivered to us as it was their mistake. After some reluctance, they agreed. However, when the driver arrived, he had nothing with him and wanted the wrong order back, which had already been in our home. This made us question their hygiene practices, especially during the current pandemic. The driver was rude and unhelpful. When I called the restaurant again, they said a different driver would bring the correct order, but we had to wait an additional 25 minutes. When it finally arrived, the food was cold and needed to be reheated. This was also the same driver. After all the trouble, I had to ask for some sort of compensation, which I would have expected them to offer considering the mistake was theirs. Overall, the experience was negative and we will not be returning in the future.
We had a takeaway as a treat during lockdown. We'd been a bit wary, but it was fantastic. So well organised, we ordered, chose a collection time and paid online. When I arrived to collect I rang the number, stayed in my car and they popped my food on the step and went back in so I could collect it with absolutely no contact. The food was absolutely beautiful, it really cheered us up in these miserable times. We'll definitely be back for more takeaways, as well as to the restaurant once we're able to.
I visited this restaurant for the third time in January 2020 and I am happy to recommend it. I had been hesitant to dine here before due to the many empty tables I would see whenever I passed by. However, after a friend recommended it to me, I decided to make a reservation last year, and I was pleasantly surprised. It appears that the tables not visible from the street are given priority for seating, which may give the false impression of an empty restaurant.
On the 9th (Thursday) I've booked a table for Saturday to celebrate my Bday. I've picked 10pm and used their on website and checked opening times on google. After that I've recieved a booking confirmation thought it's all sorted....how little did I know? They rang me on Saturday nearly at 6pm saying that they can't take this booking because they're closing earlier. Very professional... I wouldn't leave this review if they would let me know at least day before but on the same day with 4 hours notice...really? Well this place is never packed but we wanted to give it a shot...not anymore. Bye Felicia!
We have ordered from here before and ate in the restaurant and the food is normally good but today was different. We order it for take away which is a treat because it 's expensive as a take away choice. Well, it might be the last time we order as the food was late and stone cold. Two people ordered fish and prawns so couldn 't reheat there 's and just had to eat cold food. I called and complained and was told I would get a call back from the manager. I am still reeling from the managers response. After spending £65 on take away his response was I 'm sorry but food gets cold sometimes . He barely even apologised and just kept saying food gets cold, he even said it 's cold outside and this makes it hard . I 'm sorry but everyone else manages to get their food to us hot, this restaurant has also managed it before. The thing that has annoyed me the most is that they didn 't offer to do anything about it and just kept making excuses. Well I certainly won 't be spending anymore money at this establishment.
