Big grill! We have the pulled pig and burned end. especially enjoyed the cheesy hash browns. nice to have a good bbq connection on the place. we're coming back!

Very nice hometown restaurant. the food was delicious and cheap. very clean and really nice people. good size shares. I have the pulled swarm without a bun and couldn't eat it all! I deserved the stop.

They have a big grill, but have a lot of dingen on the menu from sandwiches to black fish that was wonderful. was there on the thanksgiving holiday to my parents who introduced us to this facility. I'll eat there every time I'm in kirksville, family owners very good people!

My sons and I were on a cross country Amtrak trip and stopped to spend a day in Kirksville. We had lunch on May 30th at Bakers Smokehouse and are still talking about it to this day so I thought I would leave a review. Portions are perfect! We eat a lot of BBQ and I can say without equivocation, that this is the best BBQ we have ever had! The owner was there when we had lunch and told us he makes the sauce himself. The sauce is amazing and the meats cooked to perfection. It was a highlight on our trip and we have talked about making sure our next trip includes a stop in Kirksville for lunch.
