Kuehner's Landhaus - Kissing

Eating is extravagant good and the service is very accommodating. especially the dry food is recommended. the price is good and the kitchen that I would arrange as a fixed Bavarian kitchen, until slightly increased.

We came here at the beginning of January as a group of 8 people for dinner. I made a reservation online 2 days before hand for 6pm. I didn't get a email that the reservation went through so I called and she said that the table was only available for 2 hours. As I had often heard from family members that have been there, that the main room had a lot more tradition, and has a totally different atmosphere than the Winter garden. I then kindly asked if it was possible to get a table in the main room, she said I would have had to make the reservation a week before hand and that it wasn't possible in such a short period of time. When we got there we were greeted nicely and brought to our table which was sadly in the winter garden, which was not to bad. All the waitresses/waiters were super friendly, we then ordered our food and drinks, one person in our group had a gluten allergy and the waitress wasn't really secure about what they could make and which dishes were gluten free. In the end it all worked out. Luckily. Everyone said it tasted amazing, I had the Dry Aged Steak and I must say for a German restaurant it tasted incredible! But sadly a dish was forgotten and it was brought as almost everyone had already finished. It wouldn't have been that bad that they forgot a dish if they wouldn't have said that the table was only available for a period of time. We then had dessert which was amazing!! Try the Kaiserschmarrn, highly recommend! Overall they didn't rush us and we had a nice evening and I would definitely come back and hopefully get to sit in the main room!

I can say for every single point of review that the restaurant Kuhners Landhaus is definitely worth of visit! The food is brilliant with 3-course meal incl. starter, main dish (fish dry aged steak) and dessert! More over we’ve had a sparkling wine just to start and then excellent semi dry red wine! All meals were so well combined with drinks that you can not stop eating and enjoying it all... Also a few words about the stuff and great overall atmosphere! Each waiter was so polite and carefully asking if the food is fine and if everything is ok. And the restaurant itself is beautiful. Lots of different spots to seat so you can choose from a variation inside and outside as well... interior design is amazing too. Thank you for a great evening and the best Kissing experience!

We needed a reservation for 5 people for Sunday mittag and had a private room from 11:30AM to 1:15PM. This restaurant fills up, so you will need a reservation for popular times. Holidays require advance planning.I would call the décor updated rustic. They pride themselves on quality meat and offer dry aged beef. We did some soup appetizers, a full round of before dinner drinks, beer, wine, coffee, and all five chose the duck special for the entrée. . It was deboned and served with blue cabbage and dumplings in a sauce. Extra sauce was provided for the table. The food was well presented and the duck was crispy and tender. Consensus excellent meal. The waiter was very pleasant and professional and used some English with the only non German. He alerted us about 20 minutes before the 1:15PM deadline. I found the prices reasonable this is a cut above the typical gasthaus. Just like the states dry aged steak is expensive. There are more moderate priced meals. Our duck was 24 euros. Highly recommend Kuhners if you are looking for a higher quality experience.
