Life Is Beer! 11tap - Kitakyushu

This pub is the real deal when it come to craft beer and the bar staff are very pleasant and professional. The atmosphere too is friendly and casual so it's certainly worth a visit to start or end the night. The local craft beer is a tiny bit disappointing compared to the (Japan and International) non local stuff but it is quite hard to hold that against them with a discounted taster option. Overall a good place to visit and it could quite easily become a local pub for Kokura residents.

In a city with not much to do, this place is a lifesaver. Hours may be different than on google, I'm sitting in here at 2pm on a holiday.

Draft beer from different Japan regions and countries to choose. Free snacks if you like their Facebook. Other bar food is quite nice too. They also have party menu. TV shows sports. English menu is also available. Its good if you are fed up with the traditional Japanese izakaya and went some western food and drinks. But it's a bit noisy (with groups) and understaffed thus may take a while for taking and getting order

If you like IPA, good to go. There were many kinds of craft beer. Potato chips was so so.
