Cheeses Murphy - Kitchener

I finally got out to the late night "pop up" restaurant Cheeses Murphy, they specialize in gourmet grilled cheese for the late night bar crowd. They function as a cash only walk up window in the lobby of the Princess Twin Cinema in Uptown Waterloo.I ordered 2 sandwiches, the Jalapeño Popper and the Cheese and Chong. Both were cooked beautifully, though I was hoping for a bigger flavour experience. I had heard very high reviews from the younger coworkers about getting an awesome grilled cheese after the bar, but I'm somewhat picky...I will return to try the remaining choices on the menu in the near future for sure, and I may even give the Tower of Terror a try.I do fully recommend this establishment for grilled cheese lovers, but I'm

Had lunch at CM today. First timer, but probably not my last. Funky little place with about 10 different varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches. $4 for the classic grilled cheese, but most of the others are $7-10 - sandwich only. I had the jalapeño popper sandwich. It was very different from any other grilled cheese I've ever had, and it was really tasty. I only wanted a light lunch, and this fit the bill. If you're really hungry, you might want to consider other places to stop. Only open 3.5 hours for lunch; 11:00-2:30. Very limited selection of sides and drinks. But the grilled cheese options are worth a stop; just for the novelty if nothing else.

This place has the best grilled cheese sandwiches. It is definitely not cheap, which is why I don't go all the time, however, I do go back because it is that good. You have to try it at least once. I'm sure you'll end up going back again.

Let's face it, no one beats Vincenzo's! This is a close second but WAY over priced. 10.00 for a grilled cheese YIKES. Not a repeat lunch place but def try it once!

Best sandwiches ever. Melt in your mouth grilled cheese. Great service and very relaxing outdoor atmosphere to enjoy our snack.
