Khartoum Hotel Pub - Kitchener

I hadn't been to this restaurant in years, but I was really impressed by the renovations. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the food was fantastic. The prices were great and there was a nice variety on the menu. The owner even came to our table to ask about our meals. Overall, the customer service was excellent.

We ate here on a Saturday night recently and it was really good. The menu had the usual pub options as well as some more contemporary style dishes. I had a very tender and tasty sirloin steak (cooked to perfection) with veggies and mash and...my wife had a lovely warm beetroot, pumpkin and feta salad. Serving were generous in typical country style. The service was very friendly and accommodating my wife has some dietary restrictions. The pub itself is a great example of an old Aussie country hotel it hasn't been tricked up like some. Most of the customers appeared to be locals, with several family groups in the restaurant, so that's always a good sign.

New menu offers a good selection (including gluten free), at value for money prices. Ccould have chosen anything from the menu. The meals are plentiful superb quality, you won't go home hungry. Will definitely will be back

Been a couple of years since my last visit and I like the improvements in the place. had a really good feed from the bistro and good friendly staff to chat with. Will make it a regular visit from now on.

Thanks again Wayne for last night. Chicken snitty is still the best and free pool n jukebox on Saturday night. New management really friendly. Will have to use courtesy bus next time and since a local will be back. Would highly recommend.
