Really cool place with a great selection of brunch items and coffees. A bit pricey, but a good experience overall. I appreciated the almond milk and raw sugar substitute options.
When in Uptown Waterloo, this has become one of my two favourite coffees spots to grab a cup. The French Press is the preferred selection, but if you're in a hurry, the drip will do very well. Nice aftertaste, good body. I've had a variety of muffins and other treats, all good. Definitely worth a stop and it is always rather full, so bear that in mind if wanting to stay.
... now in Kitchener with a second Settlement location. Fabulous decor and good coffee experience. Kitchener deserves its own listing but a difficult process with Trip Advisor who have difficult discerning the geographic differences.
Visited with my wife. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a cappuccino and a sandwich while my wife had tea. Sandwich was very nice the green mint tea was good also. It was loose leaf tea. Cappuccino was good consistency. Because place is long and narrow, the seating is not the best. As one previous poster had mentioned, there was flies in there flying around us which is really bothersome since this is January so they must be breeding in there. The decor was very bland in my opinion. I will return but I do hope they do something about the flies
