They are celebrating their 20th year and still have that same British pub atmosphere. Enjoyable and a good selection of beers on tap. Worth the time for moderately priced good food be sure to try their soup of the day.
I was here for lunch with a friend and the food was good. They had some specialty beer that were quite good. Will be back.
Met a colleague here for lunch. Easy location to find with lots of free parking available. Inside the pub is warm, a cozy environment with a variety of seating options. Our friendly server pointed out the daily luncheon options. We both decided on sandwiches that were piled high with assorted meats. Truly blown away with the size of those items.Definitely would return.
The service was a bit slow and our server was not very attentive. However, the beer was great, although there wasn't a large selection. My husband tried the soup and sandwich special and both the carrot soup and ham sandwich were delicious. The loaded poutine was also fantastic.
Whale Ale is our favorite burger spot. They serve large, handmade burgers with customizable toppings, such as perfectly caramelized onions and pan-fried mushrooms. The fries have the skins on and the onion rings are hand-breaded and fried to perfection. Everything is homemade and top quality, including the fresh and crispy salads. We give it a 5-star rating!
