I was thoroughly impressed by the FRESH seafood they offer, along with the charming atmosphere and the friendly, skilled staff. As one of the long-time Mainers who is quite particular about lobster rolls, I can say that New England Fishmongers does it perfectly: FRESH lobster meat (never frozen) lightly dressed and complemented by a hint of celery leaf garnish. The brioche bun is a delightful upgrade from the usual. YUM! They also serve the best white fish salad we've ever tasted! I’m so glad we discovered this place!

Support these amazing folks! They put in a tremendous effort despite challenging circumstances, and they return to the shore with a positive attitude. These are the New England Fishmongers. Be sure to find and follow them on social media. When you visit Maine, make a point to see them in Kittery—you won’t regret it. Two thumbs up!

I visited Kittery without a clear idea of where to eat. Feeling hungry, I searched on Google for a spot for a late lunch and stumbled upon this restaurant. I decided to give it a try, and I was delighted to discover their fish and chips—it was fantastic! I definitely plan to return on my next visit to Kittery. I also found it intriguing that they offer fresh seafood here!

My husband is from England, so he's got his fair share of big fish and chips... but he was so excited when he eats here! The fish and chips are definitely the best fish and chips he had in the UK! He is also gluten-sensitive and her chickpeas-based dough was excellent, super tasty, and not annoyed his stomach, which is another victory. We definitely intend to be here weekly or two weeks regularly. The service and management were also excellent. Definitely check out this place, you will not be disappointed!!

If you love seafood locally sourced, this is the spot! Fresh local Maine scallops, oysters, mussels, and all sorts of fish! First time in with myself and family. The owner and staff are incredibly nice, treat you like you're old friends. Ordered the salmon burger, fish and scallop chowder, fish and chips, and a tray of oysters. The food is AMAZING! So fresh, can't even describe into words. Batter on the fried fish is light and crispy. Fries are great! The Kimchi on the salmon burger is out of this world. The owner and chef went above and beyond to make sure our food experience were far above excellent. The owner was super nice to my daughter as well! We're local to the area and this will definitely be a regular go to for us.
