Best butter Pecan ice cream I had everywhere. friendly and personal service. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet treat in OBX.
It is expensive, but you pay for delicious homemade ice cream from a local store. It's not Dairy Queen You cannot expect DQ prices. The man behind the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. I have a delicious chocolate peanut butter shake, my children got a small scrap strawberry and a small scrap Crazy Vanilla, and my husband got a small mint chocolate chip. The employee showed us the ice machine and told us about the process of production. He was really patient with my 5 years old. We had a great experience!
Damn good ice cream. Best I have ever eaten. That's all I have to say about that.
I tried two different ice creams in the last 2 weeks and can only say that Big Buck's makes the best ice cream on the Outer Banks. I daresay that the chocolate almond ice cream that I had today was the best chocolate ice cream I have ever had. And this comes from a former Ben Jerry's manager!
