I absolutely loved the fresh fish curry at this restaurant, it tasted just like a homemade fish curry. The fried fish and fried chicken were incredibly crispy and fresh, and paired perfectly with the curry. They also offer other delicious curries like mutton curry, with generous portions of meat. The fish eggs were a tasty treat as well. Their fish head curry is famous, as is their Briyani. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and was impressed by the large portions of rice, vegetables, and curry, with Appalams on the side. For dessert, I recommend trying the ABC or cendol, or both if you still have room. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is crowded, but the riverside view and shade from the trees make for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, a must-try for delicious Malaysian cuisine.
Been eating here for years. The mutton is superbly delicious and their fried chicken is to die for. Didn’t think of trying their kepala ikan though : Go before 12.15pm on Wednesday and Friday if you want to try their mutton.
Fresh fish headurry, rice and juicy yam grain.
