Le's Restaurant - Knox

Had dinner with my wife and daughter and loved her food. Friends led us to this place and we eat there when we bite fish entree is great and so their spice chicken bits!!! Also cheap! Make yourself a favor!!!

My family and I recently moved back to the Upwey region and decided to try out some Vietnamese food. We dined at Le's restaurant during the week and had a fantastic experience with delicious food and great service. However, when we returned with the family on Saturday, our experience was completely different. We were a party of 4 and when we arrived, the only available table was in a noisy area in the back. Additionally, there were no plates or cutlery at our table, so we had to ask for them. We also had to wait a long time for our orders to be taken and for our drinks to arrive. One drink was forgotten and when we inquired about it, it was delivered to the table with a bit of attitude. The food was not up to par either, as the meat spring rolls were dry and tough. To top it off, when we asked about our main dishes, we were informed that they had run out of one of the items we wanted, which was disappointing since we had already ordered the duck. We decided to cancel our order, pay the bill, and head to another restaurant in Upwey where we had a much better dining experience with delicious food and attentive service.

Four of us went to Le’s on a Sunday evening, one month after returning from a trip to Vietnam. The waitress was lovely, the food was diverse and reminiscent of what we had in Vietnam - hot and fresh with a wide selection at great prices. We brought our own wine, but they have a good selection available. The only issue was that other guests were left waiting at 8 p.m. and we felt neglected by the other staff members aside from our waitress, so we decided to skip dessert and leave. Despite this, we plan on returning with others in the future. Delicious!

We arrived at six and were seated at a table. Another customer's son joined us and played with my daughters, which was a pleasant distraction. By 7:30, the staff was very busy and the restaurant was crowded. Despite the hustle and bustle, they remained friendly and the food was excellent. The decor and atmosphere were nothing extraordinary, but the restaurant seems to be a favorite among locals.

This is a small, restaurant in Upwey Village and it doesn't look much from the outside but the fact that you have to book a table on a Thursday night in Upwey tells it's own tale. The food is city restaurant quality delicious and plentiful...and if you can't eat it all they'll package it up in a take away container. Service is fast, efficient and friendly and prices are very reasonable. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.
