The food smelled rancid like the fry oil hadn?t been changed in months. The wonton soup was good and the beerwas cold. I walked my to-go box to the trash at ACE Hardware. I didn?t even want it stinking up my car with that rancid smellbut I felt so bad for the wait staff because they were short on people, I didn?t have the heart to go tell them the food wasawful. First time, last time.
Ate here with family and received excellent service and recommendations from the staff. She was very helpful in deciding between different types of appetizers and, even more specifically, duck. The jellyfish was delicious, it had a nice, light sesame flavorto it. The Cantonese roast duck (recommended by server) was crispy and the fat melted on my tongue. We also ordered crispy porkbelly, which was still very crunchy. The abalone/bokchoy appetizer (recommended by our server) was our veggie for all of thisand the flavor of the mushroom was delicious, and complimented everything nicely. I highly recommend this restaurant if you'remeeting with family or friends and are craving traditional Chinese eats.
The Good: Service was friendly and attentive. Vegetables in food were fresh and crisp. The Bad: Ramen tasted like it came from a store bought packet with way to much chilli oil. Came for sushi: They no longer serve sushi.
Clean, comfortable, attentive staff and an excellent chef!! Just had dinner here after a few years. They've hired a new chef and WOW!! The food is Chinese now and it's really excellent. The menu has changed so it has a lot of chinese options. I was a littleworried since I was used to the japanese menu but, some of the favorites are still available like the bento box, which isactually improved in my opinion. There's a bit more too it now. The fried food is so fresh and crispy, the presentation is cleanand appetizing and the flavors are great. We were the only diners at the restaurant on a weekday evening and my only thoughtabout that is that it's a hidden gem, located in rocky hill, I'm wondering if it's just sort of missed. We weren't toodisappointed with the quiet dining experience, especially with the calming atmosphere but, y'all come eat here so they can stayin business. This is so good!! Support this local business!!
Very underestimated authentic Asian cuisine in Knoxville. Ordered a few take-out, Image Featured: Chicken with ginger church, and Jumbo shrimps in ketchup-based sauce that all tasted amazing. It comes with a large box of white rice serving about 3-4 people. I asked a chili sauce on the side, which tasted with the chicken and rice. I am Chinese myself and I recommend checking out this place!
