Louis Original Drive In - Knoxville

The Original Louis didn?t disappoint!! Visited on a busy Sunday evening greeted by a delightful hostess and promptly seated : Our server was Mary and was absolutely perfect! Ordered dessert first my husband !! Lol loved the key lime pie. Dinner wasspaghetti meatballs BEST I have ever had accompanied by garlic bread very good and salad with homemade Italian dressing. Hubhas lasagna very good too!! Overall experience at Original Louis was awesome.. thank you all !! We will be back:

This was my first meal as a child, and I love this place! Best Italian in Knoxville for sure. Must try the spaghetti or lasagna!

My fiancé took me to dinner and we decided on Louie's because it has the best pasta and spaghetti around. We walked in and were seated immediately which was nice, we just beat the dinner rush. After being seated it was less then 30 seconds before awaitress greeted us and took our drink order. We each had tea, her sweet me unsweet. By the time our drinks were brought we knewwhat we wanted. We both ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and parmesan. One thing about Louis's is the amount of food youget. This place doesn't skimp on the amount. The plate was heaping over and I knew I had dinner the next night also. With thespaghetti came a salad and garlic bread. They make their own ranch, Italian dressing and they hand grade the parmesan cheese. Overall for the price( we both had a great meal for 36.00 dollars) I would definitely recommend Louie's.

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed. We haven't eaten here in years and were in the area and used to love it so we stopped by. Wish we hadn't. $35 later on a curbside order only to get home and throw it in the trash. The bottom of the bag wasFULL of grease. The spaghetti barely had sauce and it was so salty. Lasagna was the same. They both had so much garlic wecouldn't even get it down. And I love garlic! This used to be a favorite of ours but not anymore. Definitely won't be tryingagain.

I had a great lunch with a friend. We both had today's lunch special with a salad, two sides, and bread. Today's special was pot roast, the sides I got were green beans and mashed potatoes. I would love to go back and try their other offerings. But, wouldbe satisfied with the pot roast again. It was a very tasty meal. Thank you to our server as well. She was friendly, quick, andvery tentative to our needs.
