Usually this place is pretty good but last night (11/5/2021) I did a mobile order and they messed up both my sandwiches and I spent 30 mins trying to call them but no one answered. I also tried calling a few times today but again, no one answered. I ordered a Baja steak and cheese pro sandwich and they put it on the wrong type of bread, didn?t put like any meat on it, didn't put all the veggies I wanted on it. And then I got a American club bacon sub and again, they put it on the wrong bread and they didn?t put extra veggies when I put (more). Once I realized my order was messed up and I tried calling, my friend who picked up the order for me said the girl who was working went to chill outside so maybe that?s why they didn?t answer the phone?
They were out of so many things.. The young man at the counter had obviously had some irate customers (heat, gas prices, pandemic. We're all extra stressed), and was not having a good shift. Regardless he was still friendly as I listened to him vent for a moment, so i tipped him $10 to try to help alleviate the struggles of a frustrating day. It was a good sandwich, and he did his best to substitute any ingredients that weren't in stock (turkey, bacon, a couple cheeses, a lot of veggies, a few sauces). Management: Support your staff. I know it's hard for everyone right now, but that young man was essentially alone and doing his best to accommodate. He gets a B+, sandwich gets a B, management gets a C (not bad, but room for improvement). Thank you
On Friday, July 8, at 6:30 PM, I entered the restaurant and was met by an unwelcoming employee at the counter who didn’t say a word to me. I was the only customer in the store at the time. He then stepped outside for a moment before returning and, again, didn’t acknowledge my presence. He started preparing sandwiches without even making eye contact. It felt as if I was invisible. I couldn’t tolerate the experience and decided to leave. I'm not sure if something was bothering him or if it was a personal bias, but I won't be recommending this place or returning in the future.
I arrived at the restaurant to find it open, but there was no one inside. I waited for about 5 minutes, and since no one came to assist me, I ended up leaving without making a purchase.
