I love this place! Delicious food at a great local price.

Eating here is like a throwback experience going to a friend's grandma's house for a delicious homecooked lunch: the portions are enough to fatten and very tasty, the chef is no fuss and efficient, the grandpa is just hanging out on the porch while keeping an eye on you that you have a nice cold drink, the TV is playing in the background and neighbours come and go for a chat. Very homely experience and I absolutely loved the atmosphere! We went back more than once and most stir fried dishes are 50baht: loved the fried rice and pad see ew. The main dishes are 80baht we had the green curry with beef and the meat was plenty with a side order of big plate of rice 20baht. Many places charge wayyyy more on this island so if you fancy cheap simple authentic Thai dishes for less, come to Aunt Paew! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
