Sonya Guesthouse - Ko Lanta

We stayed at the sonya guesthouse in the mar 2017 and had a great time there. the personal is simply the sweetest and very helpful, and the dormitories and the private rooms are kept clean, all have a personal ventilator and as long as they have mask and earplugs, are very comfortable. they are 3min to foot to the klong khong beach from there, which is simply wonderful. the restaurant is quite expensive, but as soon as they prepare for eating and brought by this fantastic staff they understand why. Unisex bathroom and restaurant showers are clean and well maintained. I wish I could have visited the bungalows that are right behind the restaurant and even closer to the beach. as always, nothing bad to say (I remember that they compost and recycle! , just that I highly recommend it!

Great breakfast- really good Caffee Latte and well-sized portions. You can ask for any kind of specials like with or without sugar or things like that. Further they have reusable straws.

Such a lovely family business. Wonderful people honestly. They let our little girl play with their children and lots of toys, she had a blast. And on top of that they took a lot of their time to answer questions and curiosities we had. Definitely recommend to stay with this welcoming family!

Only once ate here, but I wanted to come earlier. really good eating, the biggest portions I had on the island, for the same price elsewhere. the personal was friendly and the menu for changing veggie dishes vegan. coffee, banana and zimtschüttel was divine. in any case they go here when they are after a beautiful meal

What a great place the sonya guesthouse is, and I can easily see why everyone else loves it. the place is so charming and authentic, it feels like its own little home. eating is absolutely phenomenal, don't give up. the people are beautiful and the place is just great. the people were so generous and helped us to rent rollern, find places to eat in the night and grab a bus for the airport. they took care of everything. the bungalows are clean and bug free, a.c works super, betten are beautiful. there is a place to do their laundry right next door and a 711 directly on the street. there are places to park their roller on the back and I think staying here in koh lanta could have been my favorite part of the trip. many thanks for such a pleasant experience. we will definitely return.
