Ranong 2 - Ko Samui

We were disappointed with the lack of authentic spicy Thai food around our hotel, so we’d asked for a recommendation from the staff where we were staying. After confirming that we do indeed want ‘real’ spicy Thai food without the tourist factor, we were told of this place and it didn’t disappoint! Curries of our dreams, and incredible shellfish cooked with lots of basil and chilies, sauces that are tangy and very spicy with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s out of the way but so worth the trip!

I’m not sure what to say because the food is so good here that I have now lost the ability to express proper emotion because I’m not sure what I just experienced. I am so flabbergasted by how amazing this food is that I feel that it is my duty to recommend this place to every single person I meet from now on in my life regardless of what country we are in. They have to visit Thailand for the sole purpose of visiting this place. That is all that needs to be said.

The food was delicious! The spicy pork bone curry was rich and flavorful. The fried sandfish was perfectly crispy and paired with a tasty dipping sauce. The soup with shellfish was very refreshing. The stir-fried morning glory with crispy pork was standard but well-prepared. The staff provided excellent service.

The food is delicious in every dish, served quickly and all at once. It offers great value for the price. This is definitely another restaurant I would recommend!
