Feedback gevenHad a chance (based on reviews both on yelp google) and were so happy that we did. we wanted to taste kobe beef for the first time and since the place our friend had recommended was completely book, we started to run around the opposite and to keep looking after reviews of the best place. we stumbled at this place and we chose it because of the Spider man! (and of course reviews) in the inner is very intimate and sitting only 8 people. we had no reservations, but they took us since we were around 17 o'clock. who knew how costly cobe beef was. be ready to spend. we were on a budget and we could not justify having both a meal of our own, but our waiter owner was very humble and understood and we could share an evening package. the food and the experience were like nothing we've ever experienced. it was an incredible fun time. the chef was very interesting and knowledgeable. I mean, the awards they won. after eating beef. everything else could not compare. it just melts in your mouth. overall we had an absolute fun and intimate experience. they should really check it if they ever get the chance.
Amazing experience! we went there on a Monday night and were of us ourselves in the restaurant, so there was a little intimidating at first, but I am glad that we decided to go to genkichi because we had an explosion! the meat is amazingly delicious and juicy and soft and the sides are organic, well prepared and very fresh. we took the 80g rare part of the day from the prime cobe bark with the set menu 1. we had first a Kobe-Rindsashimi as starter, then a first round Kobe-Rind, when the cook before us cook and suggest combinations of nebel paste, grilled garlic and soy sauce to go with the meat. after that we had the second part of the flesh and the sweet before we had the desert. amazing! we have paid 24 000 yen for two people with 3 beer. the 80g was enough with all sides and I didn't feel hungry at all! must try!
They will never be a meal or service like it. the chef is phenomenal. they give their group a very personal service with a dedicated host who made the night an experience we will never forget. this is a must for every visit in cobe. many thanks for the life reminders
That was the most incredible and tasty food I've ever eaten! it is an intimate ten sit teppenyaki, and the man who served us was very accommodating. Despite our total lack of ability to understand or speak Japanese, he went through the menu what is kobe rind meat, and facilitated a conversation between us and the chef. while learning it was our first cobe-rib experience, they even directed us to some meat cuts they thought were better bang for the buck. it was literally the opposite of the sale we are used to! every single thing they put on our tellers was incredible. even the spiced (roasted garlic chips, mixes and washabi all local in the region) were unbelievably on themselves, and they led us to taste the best combinations of each with our bark. the a5 cobe bark is different. if you are looking for such a device, then you know it! the picturesque atmosphere, the friendly service and the unique presentation will provide the entire experience at the top of our list for our time in japan.
This place was excellent from start to finish. An absolutely perfect experience. The meat melted in my mouth and the chef Tosio was delightful to watch. He carefully and patiently taught us how to best eat the meat which I really enjoyed. 5/5 would eat again!
