Chart Room - Kodiak

I must say our server was new, but only appeared to have our table and ringing tabs. SUPER SLOW service. Had to bus my own table. Order wrong. Food only ok...expected a whole lot more. Not going back on my nickle..

I ate a Ribeye dinner french fries as there was no baled potatoes. A dinner salad and hot wings.I ordered BBQ wings. The salad was fresh and the Bleu cheese was excellent. The fries were very good as well. I got a large serving of Vegetables also with my steak. believe frozen stir fried veggies steamed. My steak was tough also my knife I was given was very dull. It is a nice relaxing place with a beautiful view.

They were too busy, they forgot the mushrooms I paid extra for on my Philly. I had to wait 45 min to get it so decided not to argue bc I was so hungry by that point. Not very friendly but can understand when you’re short staffed. Can’t wait to get back to Anchorage

I'm giving them a 5-star rating on food service and atmosphere because of the fact this is a fishing community in Alaska.Chart room is located inside the Best Western in Kodiak, overlooking the Kodiak harborReally nice placeFirst time in Friday night there was a live band, great selections of tap beer food was excellent! I had deep fried salmon, the calamari was very delicious.Friday night Prime Rib special.. it was $32 or $36 I can't remember for a 16 ozDefinitely one of the more luxurious places in Kodiak I will return.

Service was horrible. Food was mediocre. Had to argue with waitress when she brought me a COLD burger to get a freshly made one. They didnt... looks like the popped it in the microwave so the bun was a soggy mess. Avoid.
