Balthazar - Koebenhavn

I had the pleasure of visiting Balthazar bar, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience I had. The main hosts, Remi and Alba, are truly the sweetest and most professional individuals you could hope to meet in a cocktail bar. I’m not easily impressed, especially when it comes to classic boozy cocktails. However, the drinks at Balthazar bar were nothing short of outstanding. Remi’s knowledge and skill in mixology are truly impressive, so is Alba’s ability to recognize and understand what you need. The ambience of Balthazar bar is unique. It strikes the perfect balance between cozy and chic, exuding an elegant charm that’s hard to come by. I didn’t have the chance to try the food, but I noticed a nearby table indulging in what appeared to be culinary masterpieces. It turns out the food is served by the Marchall next door, and it’s at the highest level of excellence. In summary, my experience at Balthazar bar was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of Remi and Alba’s exceptional hospitality, the outstanding cocktails, and the alluring ambience make it a must-visit establishment. I wholeheartedly recommend Balthazar bar to anyone looking for a memorable evening out, and I can say with certainty that I’ll be back for more. Cheers to Balthazar bar!

Awesome place, to visit ...... have drink e just relax ... what a great atmosphere. Hope we get the chance to visit again in the near future.

Is Balthazar going through a financial crisis. Our waitress got our order totally wrong. Then went on to charge us for something we haven’t ordered. BUT ICING ON THE CAKE we had requested hot water and honey with our cognac which apparently is chargeable....Hot water and honey !!!!! Then with my vodka I was charged for sips of soda that were in my glass. When a bar charges for soda they place the remainder bottle can on the table. Only explanation is they ain’t doing well and need the money.

A wonderful venue in the heart of Copenhagen. The backside of the famous hotel D'Angleterre. Simply the place to go after having dined in this beautiful city. Perfect cocktails, Champagne to die for and exellent service all the way. Go there

This is a very sad place ... where they have hired a very rude male host, who clearly has very bad communication skills and no professional talent for running a recommended champagne bar.
