Nice food, friendly service. Good and relaxed vibe.
In the cafe munk they serve several vegan Indian curry dishes, such as daal, cauliflower chickpea curry, palate distributor with tofu instead of distributor. I would not call it an authentic Indian food, it is adapted to European taste. it was not spicy, but tasteful and well balanced, I enjoyed it a lot. but was quite small. the caffe itself is beautifully decorated and has an outside seat. they have many alcoholic drinking options (but not much choice if they do not drink alcohol).
First I ordered a vegan Indian dish for lunch. it came out with yogurt up. I asked the waitress if she was sure that the white beer was vegan at the top. she took the plate, went to ask the kitchen, and came with eating with yogurt just scratched, I could taste good what I did not allergic, but yuk! I had a meeting there, so I couldn't just go somewhere else and had to eat there. So in the evening I chose the burger. but when it came out, the bungalow looked a lot like a brioche, we asked if they were sure that the bungalow was vegan. she said she didn't know it because they just come in huge plastic bags without writing on them, she showed us. so in a ground, they can't know if the burger back is vegan or not, and it could be cow milk in her vegan dish. it is a player of this
I have avoided this place for some time, because from some reason it did not feel like a place that knew vegan from vegetarian. I was wrong. not all their vegan options are marked, but they have a good amount. I think 3 of their vegetarian Indian dishes could be veganized, and they also had a vegan package and a burger. my cheek-pear flowers was unexpectedly spicy, and there could have been a little more tear, but it was good and I will come back later. I've got my lunch fast, what was a plus. they also serve alcohol and could be ideal for lunch, date or dinner with friends.
