Wokshop - Koebenhavn

Worship Cantina used to be a really nice restaurant. Not anymore. While ordering a red curry good beef soup with baby aubergines, I was handed (a very rude waitress who probably had a really bad day... a bowl of red curry soup with old basil leaves, no baby aubergine and the same (cheeper meat that my husband ordered. I tried in a kind, diplomatic way to point out the difference between my order and the served plate. The ice cold answer was that the restaurant were our of several ingredients. Another (very kind waiter apologised, but still the bill was for a meal I wasn 't given. We were at no time asked if we would like more to drink, would like a dessert etc. Not a professionel service at all. We left disappointed and felt badly treated as costumers. Very Un Danish and far from the high standard apparent in Copenhagen at the moment.

I went today after a long time. I used to go once 1 week and I loved the place, well, we loved the place. Today, customer service was bad and the quality of the food was bad as well and the quantity is nothing related to what it used to be. I will probably not go back there anymore.

My mother and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. I have been to some of the other wok shop locations before, but this was my first time at this one. All of the wokshops have a similar aesthetic, though this is a tad different as it is underground so it has fewer windows, but the same ambiance inside. Our lunch was great. I had the chicken fried rice and she had the cashew chicken. The food was delicious, and very consistent amongst all the wokshop locations. The true highlight though was the service. Our server was incredibly kind and even gave me apartment hunting advice (which in Copenhaged, I'll take all the help that I can get. I will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of having dinner here tonight by walking up to the restaurant. I sat on the lower level, meaning in the basement leveling up with the street. You get seated and as I was one person only, I got a place facing the street on a high chair I liked it. The background was filled with calm lounge music. Staff was attentative and they recommended me a dish after me asking for something spicey with chicken. The drink came quickly and food also after a short time. The food was good and the portion was absolutely big enough for me. Overall I paid 190 DKK incl main dish and sparkling water and tip. This is not the high cousine place you can find in CPH, but a decent and honest place to have good food in a relaxed athmosphere. I will come again, if the the opportunity comes up.

Great food and great service make for a great experience. Don’t miss out on the amazing chicken green curry. Go early to avoid the wait.
