Bar Dix Restaurant - Köln

The Dix has a living room feel with warm lighting and some paintings of Otto Dix (no originals) on the walls. The menu features a range of very interesting dishes and offers a very reasonably priced fixed menu comprised of three dishes. The wine list...is very good with lots of reasonably priced regional wines. The food is presented nicely, some dished did seem, however, re-heated and lacked balanced spicing. Still, a pace for a nice dinner some drinks. The bar section which is integrated with the restaurant has a nice stocking of liquors, beers and wines.

Been here for a company dinner, excellent food, cooked to the point. cosy atmosphere and still good for a group of twelve. service was very friendly and helpful. will go there again.

We were across the road at the wine depot buying some wine and the sales assistant recommended this restaurant to us. So glad we tried it. The restaurant had helpful and friendly staff and really tasty food. We had the mango/avocado salad, the goats cheese...and the Sri Lankan curry. They warned us the curry was hot and it was but not overly so. Seriously delicious.

As a group of we had a superb evening meal at DIX, choosing the menu combination of courses. Every thing about the restaurant was excellent the food itself was great, the service friendly and attentive, the ambience very special with the copies...of Otto Dix paintings and the price very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I loved the huge Otto Dix paintings on the walls. The choice of food and drinks is sufficient without being overwhelming. the food is interesting and well presented and delicious. The ambience is relaxing. Best to reserve a table at the weekend. The service was...extremely slow, luckily we had time and did not die of starvation.
